Informatie over Tania James
Tania James is in 1980 geboren in Chicago, Illinois en groeide op in Louisville, Kentucky. Ze is van Indiase afkomst en studeerde filmregie aan de Harvard Universtity. Bovendien ontving ze de titel Master of Fine Arts van de Columbia’s School of the Arts in 2006. Tegenwoordig is ze woonachtig in Washington D.C. waar ze les geeft in creative writing aan de George Mason University.
De debuutroman Atlas of Unknowns verscheen in april 2009 en is in het Nederlands vertaald als Atlas van het onbekende. In mei 2012 verscheen haar tweede boek de verhalenbundel Aerogrammes, in het Nederlands vertaald als Luchtpost. Haar nieuwste boek de historische roman Loot waarover je hier uitgebreide informatie leest, verschijnt in de tweede helft van januari 2024.
