Inuit schrijvers en schrijfsters zijn uiteraard afkomstig uit het Noorden van Amerika en Groenland. In het Nederlandse zijn er weinig boeken van Inuit auteurs vertaald. Maar in het Engels en Frans zijn wel romans, poëzie en verhalenbundels verkrijgbaar. Naast in het Engels en Frans schrijver sommige schrijvers en schrijfsters ook boeken in het Inuktitut de taal van de Inuit.
